Todd Morton has been making and thinking about theatre most of his life.

Most recently, he homeschooled his son (7-9), helped move his family from Boston to Boulder, and kept his head above water during a pandemic.

Before that, he spent fifteen years in theatre education. As faculty in the Theatre Department for the Noble and Greenough School in Massachusetts, Todd directed, designed, taught, and passed on what he knows of approaches to stage composition, script analysis, acting, improvisation, lighting, and stage management. His work with adolescents expanded and refined his understanding of those elements. He witnessed the import and power of theatre on the adolescent experience and community. Simultaneously, Todd was reminded of how much he loved and missed his own community. He is now building a bridge back to professional theatre.

By way of both directing and designing, Todd develops work that excites, alarms, disorients, and causes recognition for audiences. He believes that a dynamic, collaborative process packed with respect, curiosity, and enjoyment will lead to the formation of theatre and dance pieces that are inventive, defined, and exhilarating.
